The story behind "Piece of Work"

I wanted to do something out of the ordinary.  I was also going to make this another Bohica2k Art Of Excellence Award Plaque.  But I ended up going crazy on the checkerboard floor.  The blue ball was going to be checkerboard.  I drew this so fast that I completely forgot what I was going to do with it. The hardest part was the marble.  I never drew marble before.  Now I know that I can.
